Dogs and earthquakes

Postby aprgrad2004 » Sun Feb 19, 2006 11:43 pm

I am new to the CA area and I am terrified of my first earthquake.  I have 2 small dogs and I dont know what to do to protect them during the event when it happens.  I came from a place where we had tornadoes all the time in Alabama and I knew exactly what to do for that.  But, the earthquakes really scare me.

I moved from CA to AL four years ago, and actually the tornadoes scare me more.  When we lived in CA, I didn't worry about it except we had extra stash of pet food and water.  But we do that here too in AL, especially during hurricane season.
